Vintage pair of used TungSol 6L6WGB 5881 tubes (one rebranded for Raytheon, same makerTungSol 3-D getter tube). These tubes are a nice looking pair, and test great in every category... these things just last forever it seems. No shorts/gas, and with 3300 minimum for good these read out good and close at 5500/5525 on my Hickok 539C. Both tubes also pass the Hickok life test with flying colors: a drop of 20% or less during the test is considered a passing grade for the life test... both of these tubes did not drop at all, so super healthy pair ready to rock for years and years! My Maximatcher has the current draws at 23.8/24.8, so these will bias up easily in your old amp. Properly matched for actual mutual conductance AND current draws.
I have invested thousands in Excellent professional equipment (Hickok 539C, Hickok 209A, Maximatcher) to try and offer you as accurate a reading as possible. Compare this to other sellers using Granpa's old $40 tabletop tester out in the garage, selling so-called "matched" tubes tested for emissions ONLY (with no mention of mutual conductance or current draws). However, my tester is not your tester! Two identical machines, make and model, both calibrated correctly have a variable of a certain percentage. ADD to that the differences in regulated power supplies vs. wall power, other electrical devices on the same circuit, surges and drops locally, etc... Accept these figures as ballpark and not surgery if you decide to purchase these items.
Shipped FREE to the lower 48... insurance is cheap, optional, and recommended.
Shipped WORLDWIDE via 1st class mail international $11... if LESS to your country, a Paypal refund of the difference when I return from the shipper. DUE to varying quality and integrity of postal systems around the globe, the foreign buyer assumes all risk of loss/damage/theft when importing these items via inexpensive 1st class mail. I will do my part and package safely for the journey.
Amplifiers MUST be re-biased each time you change the tubes... simply pulling out your old ones and plugging in the new is of course not recommended... yet a great many people do just that. I stand behind my tubes as well-tested and working well and properly with this stipulation only: I accept returns and offer refunds when the customer is able to present to me, via email, a verifiable receipt of professional installation by a qualified tech. Amatuers and hobbyists experimenting with their own limited knowedge and various amplifiers of dubious disrepair I do not. I can have NO IDEA what state your amplifier is in, if you bothered to re-bias, or of your abilities to work with complicated electrical equipment requiring Pro skills. Tubes can be damaged/destroyed with the smallest error... so these tubes are warrented so long as you have them professionally installed and re-biased. Simple enough, and better for you and your amp too.
