Fresh to market from a central Illinois estate comes this unique and wonderful 1940s vintage (I am told) NATIONAL TRIOLIAN resonator ukulele. The 22 inch long uke has a 13 inch long neck which is wood. The body is metal and there is a neat convex center piece with small holes in it, the resonator. As the photos reflect, the ukelele has some paint chips, scratches and a bang on one end (see photo) and the strings need replaced, but the instrument still has potential and is a phenomenal resonator ukulele. This model is exceedingly rare, I am told. Not many ukes like this were made, as demand for ukulele's with resonators was not great in the 1940s. This wonderful national Triolian ukelele with resonator will make a wonderful addition to any vintage string iunstrument, hawaiian band ensemble or antique guitar musical instrument collection.
