I am relisting this item as the previous winning bidder did not pay.
This is a very old and attractive J.W. York & Sons Grand Rapids Mich. five valve double bell EUPHONIUM. It is in it's original carry case which show age wear but is still very solid with a great handle. The small bell is detachable. It has only a couple of very small dents/indents but overall is in great condition for its age. The plating worn in some area of high use and needs ot be polished. I did polish the large bell to show the nice engraved named erea. The engraving looks fantastic. The serial number is 65545. All the slides work fine and the valves are free and fast. The MOP is missing on one key and broken on second key. The mouthpiece is marked 'H.N. White 19'. The interior of the small bell appears to have a gold plating on it. I see no areas of solder which would indicate a repair. The screw tightener for the small bell seems to be complete and in good working condition.
