This is our antiqued finish. It is accomplished by first black nickel plating the entire sax. They then brush off the majority of the black nickel to give it and antiqued, scratched finish. Lastly, the entire instrument is clear lacquer coated to keep this finish looking as old/new as it is the first day you receive it.
