 Vega Fairbanks 'Whyte Laydie' with Wyatt Fawley 'chickenhead' inlay neck.  Originally a Style L.  S/N 28787.  S/N's match on dowel stick and pot.  Five Star tuners.  Very good condition with minor age and playing mars.  A great banjo!  Durable hard case included.

On Sep-08-08 at 04:03:51 PDT, seller added the following information:

 I received an email from Wyatt Fawley yesterday stating that the neck on this banjo is not his work.  When I purchased this banjo, I was told it was a Fawley neck which is why I listed it as such.  Therefore, although the neck on this banjo is very well-made and beautiful, it is NOT a Fawley neck, and I'm not sure who made it.  I apologize for any confusion this has caused . . . it was unintentional and I did NOT mean to mislead any bidders.  Please retract your bids if this is an issue for you.  Thank you in advance for your understanding in this matter.  Regards, John
