No reserve auction for a 1964 round shoulder Gibson J-45. The original tone killing adjustable bridge has been replace with a more desirable vintage style belly-up pin bridge. This guitar is in very good condition with no cracks anywhere to be found. Action is very good measuring at 1/8" at 12 fret to Low e string as pictured. It is easy to play and has the vintage Gibson tone. Neck is straight and intonation is good. There is very little fret and fingerboard wear as shown in the pictures. Solid spruce top in sunburst finish and solid mahogany back and sides. Everything appears to be original except the replaced bridge. As with any 44 year old vintage instrument the finish has checking and some minor dings and scratches which I have tried to show in the pictures. There is a little bit of pick wear around the sound hole and pick guard as shown. Includes non-original hard shell case. The serial number #162137 is ink stamped on the back of the head stock. All in all a very nice highly sought after round shoulder Gibson J-45.
