A Fly Deluxe with Great Looks, Sound, and Feel!
The Parker Fly Deluxe is a clear winner in looks, feel, and tone! The
Fly Deluxe's one-piece poplar body delivers the edgy, immediate tones
characteristic of R & B, rock, and country western. Engineered as
only Parker can, the reinforced basswood neck gives you unmatched
access to the fretboard and your music. Parker's combination of
DiMarzio magnetic pickups and Fishman piezo pickups makes it possible
to produce powerful electric tones and intricate, full-bodied acoustic
guitar tones.

An advanced, better sounding Fly!
The Parker Fly Deluxe reflects some straightforward yet significant
advancement. As always, sound is the paramount consideration. All new
Fly Deluxe guitars are equipped with a coil tap and 3-way pickup
selector that give you even more sound than before, with six magnetic
pickup choices ranging from warm, creamy humbucker crunch to
single-coil twang to howling blues. Locking tuners provide better
tuning accuracy since the strings do not need be wound on the post. The
Fly Deluxe's no-tang stainless steel frets wear much more slowly than
traditional nickel/silver frets.
Slim, contoured body with patented neck-through design
Parker's signature design and construction are evident in the Fly
Deluxe. The 1-piece poplar body is perfectly matched to a basswood neck
with Parker's patented neck-through design. The carbon finger board
makes the neck very resistant to bowing and twisting, provides a fast
playing surface, and still has the feel of wood. The Fly Deluxe also
features Parker's thin glass/carbon exoskeleton to produce an amazingly
lightweight but full-sounding guitar.
DiMarzio humbuckers and Fishman piezo pickup
The Parker Fly Deluxe gives you clean and crunchy tones and clear
acoustic sounds, all in one guitar. The Fly Deluxe is outfitted with
two custom-wound DiMarzio humbucker pickups for singing leads and
chunky rhythm playing. The piezo pickup delivers great acoustic tones,
and the Fishman preamp has undergone an overhaul resulting in improved
performance. Plus, Parker has simplified and redesigned the controls to
make them more accessible and easier to use while playing.

Since our pictures are so large and clear we mainly let them act as our grading system. In some cases our detail photos are life size and beyond! Everyone has their own opinion on grading and condition. So this is a nice option. We like to be conservative in our ratings. We use “The Vintage Guitar Guide” below as a starting point. Note that the guitar may only have a few of the traits listed in each category of the grading system.
(New) as from the factory, may have some slight marks or factory flaws.
(Mint) has no dings or scratches like new, may have factory marks, swirls or flaws.
(Near Mint) It is mint, however there may be fine scratches or factory flaws.
(Mint-) some scratches and or light marks.
(Excellent +) may have a few dings, light fret wear, small finish checks, small finish wear, and some scratches and marks. In most cases it will have only a few of the fore mentioned.
(Excellent) may have numerous dings, finish checks, fret wear, finish wear, scratches, small wear or repairs and small marks. Typical wear marks without affecting playability or sound of the instrument. Remember most instruments only have a few of these things mentioned above, and should be used only as a guide.
(Good) has wear and tear, dings, scratches, finish may be missing in larger areas, cracks though nothing that highly affects structure or sound. This is what most professional guitarists use today in concert.
We answer all questions promptly. Since our auctions are sold at no reserve and accompanied by clear, large and concise pictures, we can obviously not offer returns or partial refunds. You can always resell it if it doesn’t meet your standards for some reason. That’s truly what ebay is all about anyway. All items are sold as is.
