This listing features a real piece of musical history for you. This is a 1935 Martin R-17 Acoustic Archtop Guitar for you. It comes to you in a nice generic case – all clasps and handle intact. It's one of the heavy cardboard type cases.

The 1935 Martin R-17 Acoustic Archtop guitar is still in solid condition for you - finish still looks great and there are no cracks or breaks in the body or neck. The pickguard (pick guard) has come off but it's here for you so you could certainly have it put back in place. Dark woodgrain finish is still very nice. Original serial number #60485 and the style / model number R-17 are clearly marked inside - which dates it to 1935. Neck is straight and the logo / decal is still clear on the peghead. Definately a gorgeous piece of the past.
