This listing features a terrific and very SCARCE and hard to find 1955 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop Guitar for you. It comes to you in very nice overall condition and with an original Gibson case – all clasps intact and what appears to be a replacement handle intact. Clearly marked Gibson on the outside. Soft fabric interior in terrific condition and has protected the guitar nicely.

The 1955 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop is still in terrific condition for you. No cracks or breaks in the body or neck and the goldtop finish is still actually pretty nice considering the age. As you can see, this beautiful and hard to find piece has been played and loved and so there is some edgewear to the finish and some finish checking, I believe it's called. Please checkout the photos to see exactly what I mean about the finish. Original serial number on this very hard to find 1955 Goldtop is #5 9286 is ink stamped on the back of the peghead. Neck is straight and it's still an exceptional example, considering the age. We've tried to add alot of photos of this very hard to find piece. Will make a fine addition to your personal collection.
