I’m no expert on mics. From what I can tell from researching is this one is from the late 50’s (I’ll post any other informative info i get) using an adapter I plugged this into a small guitar SS practice amp, w/ a harp. I definitely had sound but not too loud and the SS amp gave feedback so the test wasn’t very conclusive. It’s functioning but to my ears not loud enough. I don’t know if the element needs replacing or cable or what ??? It's vintage stands to reason it might need something. I just want to make a complete disclosure for the buyer. sry the adapter I was using doesn’t come with it! (not mine) but you can get one at Angela’s Instruments (very good people) & they even have an Ebay store front. - I'll be happy to answer any questions re this just ask - this item is sold as-is w/no returns
