100% Pure North American Rock Maple Shells with Reinforcement Rings for superb attack and clarity.
All drums have the quintessential and must have Wood Hoops. Ayotte signature Wood Hoops generate a warm, rich, organic sound with
overtones and a sonic complexity unachievable with typical metal hoops.
Each Wood Hoop is carefully hand-fabricated by cross-laminating North
American Rock Maple veneers under extreme pressure.
Ayotte Suspension Bridge mounting standard on all toms. The Ayotte Suspension Bridge Assembly incorporates style and
performance by suspending rack toms via existing tension points for
minimal shell interference. This mounting system was specifically
designed such that drum heads can be changed without the tom being
removed from the cymbal stand. Also, its unique streamlined aesthetics
compliment accompanying Ayotte drums and mounting hardware perfectly.
Sizes (Diameter X Depth) 12"x 9" ride tom, 14"x 12" floor tom, 16"x 14" floor tom, and 22"x 16". Stands not included. Perfect balance between all drums. Amazing organic tone! You will be happy!

Since our pictures are so large and clear we mainly let them act as our grading system. In some cases our detail photos are life size and beyond! Everyone has their own opinion on grading and condition. So this is a nice option. We like to be conservative in our ratings. We use “The Vintage Guitar Guide” below as a starting point. Note that the guitar may only have a few of the traits listed in each category of the grading system.
(New) as from the factory, may have some slight marks or factory flaws.
(Mint) has no dings or scratches like new, may have factory marks, swirls or flaws.
(Near Mint) It is mint, however there may be fine scratches or factory flaws.
(Mint-) some scratches and or light marks.
(Excellent +) may have a few dings, light fret wear, small finish checks, small finish wear, and some scratches and marks. In most cases it will have only a few of the fore mentioned.
(Excellent) may have numerous dings, finish checks, fret wear, finish wear, scratches, small wear or repairs and small marks. Typical wear marks without affecting playability or sound of the instrument. Remember most instruments only have a few of these things mentioned above, and should be used only as a guide.
(Good) has wear and tear, dings, scratches, finish may be missing in larger areas, cracks though nothing that highly affects structure or sound. This is what most professional guitarists use today in concert.
We answer all questions promptly. Since our auctions are sold at no reserve and accompanied by clear, large and concise pictures, we can obviously not offer returns or partial refunds. You can always resell it if it doesn’t meet your standards for some reason. That’s truly what ebay is all about anyway. All items are sold as is.
