Excellent Fox Model 400 Professional wood Oboe w\case

Up for auction is an excellent condition Fox model 400 wood professional oboe.  The serial number is 17xxx, date of manufacture is the year 2000.  The cork pads in the upper and lower joint are in excellent condition.  Plating on all keys is in perfect shape, a little tarnished in some areas, a good cleaning would bring this oboe to new condition.  All keys work properly, nothing bent.  All spring tension is very good.  The middle tenon cork looks a little ragged, should be replaced.  The wood is in excellent shape, no cracks, no signs of cracking, no signs of pinning.  This is a full conservatory professional line oboe.  This does not have an adjustable thumb rest, it is stationary.  For more information\specifications on this particular oboe, you can visit the manufacturer's website at www.foxproducts.com.  All the info you need on this model is right there.  Any other questions, do not hesitate to ask.  Comes in a Pro-Tec hard case that is in good condition.
