This auction is for a 1970 Gibson ES-335 Project. It has no parts on it other than the bridge post and truss rod cover(one screw is stripped so I could not remove it. It has the small volute, made in USA stamp and the legible numbers on the harness(sold seperately) read 13770XX. The serial number is a 900000 series correct for a 1970-1972 model. The finish has sustainded some sort of heat or moisture damage and you may consider a refinish as part of the resoration process. The neck has seperated and there are a few samll areas of binding seperation. There are no cracks or breaks in the wood. The frets are in fair shape and may be saveable. That is up to you. The neck is not warped and is fairly straight. The nut width is 1 1/2". The finish on the face of the headstock is starting to flake off. This is a great project for the right luthier. Please feel free to e-mail with any questions and with specific photo requests.
