You are looking for one very rare vintage Neumann U87 / U 397 ORTF / RTF - speciale French version for the " Office de la Radio Televisions Francaise " and " Radio Television Française "-   with his shockmount and, if you want, with external alimentation ( versus SCHOEPS  not inclued in the auction )

This speciale version used a 9-12 volts Sogie alimentation ( see following pictures ) I can provide sealed special connection from " RADIALL " You can utilized this microphone as the U/87 ( U397 is the same version with KK67 ) with the Cannon connection. The particularity of this microphone is to put it on ( inside ) a small accumulator of 9 Volts ( Batt. IEC 6F22 ) and you can utilized them on evry consol, mix or preamplifier without Phantom 48 Volts alim. A switch inside ( see following picture ) may operate or not the microphone.

The external Schoeps alim can be screw directly on the U397 without to open the microphone. You can used evry external 9-12 volts alim with the Sogie connection ( I have original sealed Sogie connection to. )

The serial number is 26431 and 26423 ( very closed factory number) Since 1993, they where stocked into their own protect boxe and never used since this date. Before, they were used in a french public auditorim radio to take direct music concert. They were made certainly between 1960-65 - ( RTF was created before ORTF and the ORTF finished in 1974 )

Naturaly, they have all caracteristics of the U87 : switch attenuator -10db, pass-bas, and omni, cardio and 8 double side. They are in perfect mechanical condition ( no shock appear ) and I have test each one on a NAGRA III. The U87 / U397 is the microphone standard by which all others microphones are measured !
