This auction is for an absolutely SPECTACULAR 1972 Fender Stratocaster in the highly sought after Olympic White original custom color finish!!! This vintage beauty is 100% factory original and untampered with....PERIOD. No stories or excuses with this one. Comes with the original Fender case, whammy bar, hang tag, owners manual, inspection tag from the Fender factory and even the original ashtray cover!!! In addition, the guitar comes with the original 1972 Fender Price List and Fender catalogue!!! The guitar has a maple board and some of the most gorgeous wood grain running through it that I have ever seen. The original Olympic White factory finish has not turned that disgusting puke/banana yellow that 99% of these turn to over time and this is still very creamy and the closest to white early 70s strat I have ever laid eyes on. There are some dings, marks and buckle lines/pickguard feathering here and there with the worst of it on the butt end (see pix). Pot codes are 7233, all orig grey bottom pickups are staggered pole and have codes ending with 2. Serial # is 369446, 3 bolt neck, 3-way switch. All electronics work perfectly. The pups are strong and well balanced. The original frets are in good condition with tons of life left. The OHSC is in good condition with some minor scuffs on the exterior (interior is very clean with no smells) and all latches work. This is a rare, beautiful early 70s Strat with that Jimi/ Stevie Ray tone that we all crave. I accept Paypal (only to a confirmed Paypal address), U.S. Postal Money orders and Certified bank checks.
