1989 Fender American Standard Stratocaster Guitar

This is a 1989 Fender American Standard Stratocaster with Case
serial number E959006.

It is in good condition with a few cosmetic dings like the ones shown in the photos.  It plays very well.

A few things were "upgraded" before I bought it: 

It has a Seymour-Duncan humbucker pickup at the bridge.  This can be toggled between single coil and double coil, which provides for more possible tones; from very bright and twangy to deep and growly. 

It also has a Fender Lace for the middle pickup and at the neck is a pickup of unknown brand to me.  This neck pickup provides a very nice warm and mellow sound (cool for jazz comps). 

The pickup combination, while a little unorthodox, provides any sort of sound you could want, from soft and warm at the neck to bright and twangy to deep and growly at the bridge and everything in between. 

The other upgrade is a special nut with rollers that is supposed to keep the guitar more in tune when using the whammy bar.
