You're bidding on a beautiful 2001 Guild Bluesbird SN# CM 000108, made in Corona Ca. USA. Very nice condition. Original HS case included - black tolex outside, green plush inside.
The guitar is a great example, with flawless fit and finish, very high quality look and feel, purchased from a music store that specializes in Guild. The neck is a medium C shape, similar to 60's gibsons, with a very nice rosewood board, minimal fretwear. Width at nut is 1 11/16". It's set up with .010s with a nice low action, no buzzing, that still allows for easy bending (I'll set it up with your choice of strings and action). Being chambered, the guitar has a very open, lively sound. Soundwise, it's a nice cross between a '335 and a Les Paul, with a little more sparkle. It does great classic rock, blues, jazz, country - great if you're looking for a guitar that does it all. But you would have to search hard to find a Gibson with equal build quality.
I made 2 upgrades, a Duncan Seth Lover neck pickup (the bridge is the stock Duncan SH-1 '59), and a lightweight aluminum stop tailpiece. (I put these on all my guitars). The Seth Lover gives the neck position a great vintage vintage jazz and blues tone. I will change out the Seth Lover for the original '59 if you desire, but the Seth Lover is a great addition.
I'm including free shipping to the continental US. Let me know if you have any questions, and happy bidding.
