Up for auction is near mint, rare, TEAL BLACK PRS Custom 24 which is clearly
a distinguishable Ten Top guitar. This guitar was built in 2001 and is
in NEAR MINT shap, minus some light scratches on the back of the neck which can be seen in the pictures below. The serial number on the back of the headstock
reads 155216. Also, as shown in the picture of the back of the
headstock, there is a 10 written at the top right corner indicating a
hand picked highly flamed maple top.
The Teal Black is hard to photograph, so I included a stock picture from the PRS website, which gives you a more accurate idea of how it looks in person.
The guitar has the Paul's signature Bird Inlays done perfectly with
Abalone. It's vibrantly colored and not the dull inlays you see on a
lot of factory churned guitars these days. The rosewood fretboard is
dark which makes the inlays look even better. The frets have no sign of
any playwear and are nice and chunky. NO gouges, scrapes or dents on
the fretboard or the frets. It is in unplayed condition therefore you
won't find any deadspots or buzzing along the neck. For the picky ones
that worry about neck contours, the neck is the comfy WIDE THIN neck.
This means it is 1-11/16th at the nut and 25/32 of an inch in depth.
The pickups are HFS, and Vintage Bass pick ups
they serve the Full Menu of Super TONE. Run it through your cab and
you'll know what I mean. They sustain for days, and sound amazing!
