Up for auction is (one) 1954 Jensen Alnico 5 PM Concert Series Speaker. This is one of two that were in a set of speaker boxes that were hinged together and were latchable. They were hanging in a dance hall in a small town in the Panhandle of Nebraska. The people I acquired them from were around when these were hung up in 54. They had a sale in the large dance hall and I noticed the speaker hanging 15 or so feet on either side of the building. I tested the speakers after I took them out of the boxes, they pass the battery test. Cones seem to be in really nice shape. I did not try these out with a stereo or any other electronic sound making device. I am pretty sure they would work for you. Since these are so old, I am selling these as is. But do guarantee that they will not be DEAD ON ARRIVAL. I have the mate to this up on another auction. Good luck Bidding.
