Ok. So here we go. I was approached by a private collector to list a few of his vintage pieces for him. What an honor. I have never played a guitar like this, nor like the other few I'll be listing as well. This one: a 1967 Fender Telecaster Electric Guitar, Left Handed. Neck date: April 3rd 1967. Serial number: 28648X. I'll give my best description. Also, notice the link at the bottom of the description. Very important. It's my flickr account and has over 50 pictures of this beauty in detail for the serious eye! Should minimize questions and all that.
The buyer will pay the owner, not me. And will be put in contact with him once the sale has been decided. And payment must be available at auction's end.
It's in really nice shape. The thing I was most shocked about was in how great of shape the frets are. Only minimal wear. And no refret according to the owner. The body has some wear as you'd expect with a blonde finish. There is some discoloration in spots. But for 40 years old, it's playing and looks great. It's mean machine. Again, the neck is in amazing shape considering it's age. The body has it's Relic'd look. Check the pics. I have pics of the pots and cavity too. The hardshell may or may not be original.
