VERY RARE! VINTAGE 1965 GUILD STARFIRE III Thin Hollow Body electric guitar, EXCELLENT CONDITION, in original case, w/ original 1965 sales receipt. Back in 1965, this guitar cost $425 + tax brand new. Considered to be one of the TOP guitars of its era. Aside from the strings, EVERYTHING ON THIS IS ORIGINAL (finish, pickups, etc)! Gorgeous Candy Apple Red gloss finish, Serial number 43513, Rosewood neck with pearl inlay, Bigsby Tremelo, Dual Pickups, Pearl Inlay for the Guild Starfire logo on the top of the guitar (see photos). All joints and hardware are super solid (neck, dual pickups, etc). Hard shell faux alligator skin case with 5 closing clasps, with burgundy velveteen interior, also in EXCELLENT CONDITION!. Vintage picks also included. The ONLY blemish on this beautiful guitar is a 1-inch scratch on the back of the neck and a pencil eraser-sized slight discoloration above the scratch (see photo; they're so subtle that it was hard to get a good photo showing them). My dad used to rock out on this beauty with the well-known Cincinnati rock band "The Esquires" back in the 60's. This specific guitar was played from 1965 to 1967. Will ship via UPS Ground (it weighs around 25 lbs; NO International shipments), and I'll insure it for whatever its final value is. Flat $50 shipping, handling and insurance fee. I pack my packages VERY well (check my feedback and all the compliments on packing). Will accept a return and refund your money IF and ONLY IF there is ABSOLUTELY NO sign of wear or use of the guitar or case. You pay the return shipping and insurance.
