1956 Supro tube amplifier. This is a great little amp! Works great! There is no model number anywhere on the amp. Only Valco MFG. CO. Chicago 51. It uses a 12ax7, 5y3 gt, and 6v6 gt tubes similar to a fender champ. The tubes look to be original to the amp. All black plate RCA tubes. The two prong power cable is still attached which leads me to believe that this amp has never been modified. The spare fuse packet is still stapled inside the amp! There are a few scratches and tears in the tweed but nothing out of the ordinary for an amp of this age. The speaker grill is pushed in slightly but does not hit the speaker. The only thing wrong with the amp is that the handle was gone and the light is burned out. I made another handle out of a piece of leather. Other than that it is a great collectors piece. To use the amp I would recommend bringing it to a tech to go through and replace the power cord and caps. With vintage electronics I have to sell as-is. Shipping can be hard on vintage amps. I will pack it very carefully. I will accept refunds if something in the description is wrong. It works great and sounds amazing. Real blues tone, and with a hot guitar, Marshall type distortion with ease. The speaker is in good shape with a tight sound with no buzzes. Two 1/4" instrument inputs, one 1/4" microphone input, volume and tone controls. The serial number is X76975. Flat rate shipping insured in the U.S. for $30. Ask me any questions before bidding. You will love it. No Reserve!
