This auction is for a tube Fender Vibrolux Reverb Guitar Amplifier.
I picked up this amp in Austin, TX in 1982 and have owned it since.
The serial number stamped on right rear of the metal circuit cabinet is "A 303363". I am no expert on dating these amps, but I can tell you it appeared to be several years old when I bought it. I would guess it is at least 30 years old.
The amp sounds great, with crisp, clear tone at low to mid volume, and that nice Fender overdrive as you turn it up and saturate the tubes. The stock vibrato effect and the Accutronics (Hammond) reverb tank both work. At 40W, it is a super club or studio amp.
Condition of the amp is excellent given its age. The matched "Fender Special Design" 10 inch-speakers are original, and "X10L5XX303" is stamped on their frames. The electronics are also original (with the exception of some tubes that I know have been replaced). The original Tolex is in very good shape as you can see from the photos. The speaker cloth was holed and has been replaced. The upper protective panel on the rear of the amp was cracked and has been replaced.
Included is a dual footswitch. The chrome case has some rust, but the cord and switches are brand new. The switch is in great working order.
While this amp has been reliable, and I fully expect it to perform well for you, it is vintage electronics. As such, is sold on an 'as-is' basis.
I am in the MN Twin Cities and am open to local pick-up; US cash money only in that circumstance. I am also open to shipping options other than USPS, as long as it is convenient for me to execute. I only charge actual shipping, no box, packing or other charges. Shipping insurance will be mandatory.
Thanks and good luck!

If you are the winning bidder, I am happy to ship DHL. The package will be 12x24x36 inches, and weigh 65#s. Thanks!
