Stunning Vintage Calrec 24 channel mixer with classic eq and 6 x compressors

This is an auction for a very high quality, 24 channel Calrec mixer with classic eq and 6 compressors. It is being sold complete with 1 x plastic Neve knob from a 51 series mixer (not pictured).
These are a rare sight to see for sale on ebay, especially with no reserve. They are made to some of the finest standards and this one was made for the UK Ministry of Information in the early '80's.
It has 24 channels with full 4 band, classic Calrec eq, 16 track routing, 16 track monitor section (with long throw faders), 6 x superb compressor/limiters, LED metering plus master analogue PPM metering and a load of other useful stuff...
It was bought from it's original owner, the Ministry of Information in the late '90's (where it was a working console) but it has never been commissioned since then and has not been plugged in for around 9 years. It is therefore sold totally AS-IS with no returns.
If you do not want to use this as a console then there is 24 eq's and 6 compressors plus other bits you can use as spares and this lot alone would be worth £loads..!
These mixers were made to some of the highest specs at the time and are renowned for their amazing sound quality and musical eq..
This is the ONLY ONE I HAVE, so if it sells there will be no 2nd chance offers...
Shipping prices are approximate and are by sea to the nearest port, air shipping is approx 2x sea. Personal collection is also very welcome from Birmingham. You will also have to add approx £250 for a professionally made wooden crate for this if shipping outside UK
